Performing Arts

The performing arts at Albright College embody a long-standing tradition of creativity, collaboration, and excellence. Albright’s artists engage in a wide range of expressive disciplines that enrich both campus and community life. The Domino Players, the college’s resident theatre company, have produced nearly a century of distinguished performances that span the literary canon of western theatre, earning national recognition for their artistic achievement. Lion Records, Albright’s student-run record label, provides invaluable hands-on experience in recording, producing, and promoting original work, while vocal ensembles like Albright Chorale showcase Albright’s rich musical talent through concerts and recitals. Albright's dance and step teams bring energy and expression to campus events and performances. Together, housed within the Center for the Arts (CFA), these programs form the foundation of Albright’s vibrant performing arts community.

A DECORATED PROGRAM

Albright College was named the winner of eight 2020 national American College Theatre Festival (formerly Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival) awards for its celebrated production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, by Simon Stephens.

"I’ve been around the block, and have seen all of the festival productions since 2000. And I look forward to what Albright brings to festivals each year, because they set the high bar for others.”

- Gregg Henry, artistic director of the American College Theater Festival
