Our weekly large-group Bible Study will be held in Master’s 8 (basement) at 7 p.m. On Tuesday, September 21, Albright Christian Fellowship with have its regular Bible Study along with a spoken word performance by Reading native, Josh Surita and Albright sophomore Jazer Willis. Jazer won the Legacy Disciple Poetry Slam in Chicago this summer. Jazer and Josh will share about their faith through this dynamic art form.

STUDENT-LED WORSHIP SERVICE

The Student-Led Worship Service has a new name, Strength for the Journey! Come out to our Worship Service this Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel! This Sunday we will have a time for worship, prayer, and a short message. We look forward to seeing you there and hanging out afterwards with snacks! We can’t wait to worship with you all. God Bless!
Hillel is an Albright student group for the support and practice of the Jewish religion, fostering a community for people to come together. Reverend Sensenig is on campus Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
He also eats lunch in the dining hall on Monday and Wednesday at noon, where he welcomes students to join him to eat and chat.

This week, Chaplain Sudha discusses meditation. She says that meditation starts with a practice of concentration. When a person becomes skillful at concentration, he/she reaches a state of deep quietude, which is often described as a state of peacefulness. Meditation occurs as peacefulness deepens. Sudha encourages everyone to take a few moments, close their eyes, concentrate on a soothing sound, symbol, prayer, or affirmation. Eventually, over time and with practice, a comforting stillness and deep inner peace will be experienced. Please enjoy Sudha’s Weekly Video.
