Next Steps to Select Housing for the 2019-2020 Academic Year

Step 1: Complete your Housing Form

Login to your MyHousing Student Portal (use your LionLink credentials) and Select the Returning Student Housing Form from the “Housing Form” drop down menu. Follow instructions to complete the form.

Step 2: Select your meal plan and roommate(s) in your MyHousing Student Portal

To select your dining plan, please log in to your MyHousing Student Portal. From the drop-down menu under “Dining Plan Selection”, toggle Select/Choose Dining Plan and follow the instructions. Please refer to the information panel in your MyHousing Student Portal for relevant information.

A note about dining plans: If you plan to live in Albright Court, Mohn Hall, North Hall, or Smith Hall you must select either the Gold, Silver, or Bronze plan. If you plan to live in Affinity Housing, Albright Woods or Rockland Hall you are not required to have a meal plan but may select to have any of the meal plans, including the commuter options. You will be able to make changes to your dining plan in MyHousing until June 21st.

For roommate pairing, from now until April 17th, follow the instructions under the “Room Selection” drop-down menu. You will be prompted to search for your roommate by name. If you plan to select Albright Woods or Rockland Hall during Housing Selection, you will need to mutually select all of your apartment-mates/suitemates during this process. Once you select your roommate, your roommate(s) will need to login to their MyHousing to approve your request; be sure to login to your MyHousing Student Portal to approve any roommate pairings.

A note about roommate pairings: Rockland Hall is reserved for Junior and Senior students only—all roommates must be a junior or senior in order to select Rockland Hall (you will not be permitted to select Rockland Hall otherwise). To sign-in to Rockland Hall or Albright Woods, you must fill all spaces in the apartment/suite.

Step 3: Look for an email coming soon with your housing selection number in your Albright email.

Your housing selection number will tell you when you are able to participate in your housing selection processes.

Step 4: Participate in online selection through the MyHousing Student Portal.


Returning Student Housing Selection Timeline

March 4th – Affinity House applications are available! Please visit the Residential Life aLink page for the application.

March 11th – Housing Forms will become available through your MyHousing Student Portal. Housing Forms allow you to sign your housing contract, update your student information, and sign-up for your housing selection events. For eligible students, Residency Petitions will be available after the completion of the Housing Form (if you have questions about your eligibility, please contact Residential Life).

Please remember that you must complete your Housing Form to register for classes for Fall 2019.

April 1st – Any housing accommodations must be submitted through the Office for Student Accessibility and Advocacy.

April 5th – Residency petitions close for eligible students. Affinity House applications must be submitted in-full! Remaining residency petition decisions are released by end of day on April 8th.

April 10th – After completing your Housing Form, you must select your meal plan and roommates for the upcoming school year. From April 10th through April 16th, you are able select your meal plan and pair with your desired roommates through the MyHousing Student Portal.

April 17th – Students who are currently living in Rockland Hall are able to sign-back to Rockland Hall during Rockland Hall Sign-Back Housing Selection. All Housing Selection processes will conducted through the MyHousing Student Portal.

April 18th – Rising Juniors and Seniors are able to select available space in the General Rockland Hall Housing Selection. All Housing Selection processes will conducted through the MyHousing Student Portal.

April 23rd – Students are able to sign-back to their current residential spaces in General Sign-Back Housing Selection (Krause, Crowell, and Walton Halls are not eligible for sign-backs). All Housing Selection processes will conducted through the MyHousing Student Portal.

April 24th – Rising Juniors and Seniors who have not selected a space will complete General Housing Selection. All Housing Selection processes will conducted through the MyHousing Student Portal.

April 25th – Rising Sophomores who have not selected a space will complete General Housing Selection. All Housing Selection processes will conducted through the MyHousing Student Portal.

Students who do not complete housing selection during the outlined times must visit the Residential Life Office to select a space. If registered fulltime undergraduate students, who are not eligible for commuter status or off-campus housing, do not select housing by May 18th, they will be assigned to available space and the default meal plan.
