Residence Halls
Public Safety and Security
There is 24-hour security on campus. Residence halls are always locked. Students are issued swipe cards when they arrive. Each student also receives either a key or combination for the assigned room. There are emergency telephones at each residence hall entrance so residents can call the Department of Public Safety. All residence hall doors have alarms to prevent being propped open. Residential Life staff and Public Safety Officers make regular rounds in the residence halls for student safety and security.

Adjacent to Shirk Stadium, Lion Hall is furnished with desks, convertible desk chairs, twin XL beds, dressers, closets and window shades. Each suite includes a three-seater couch, two arm chairs, a dining table with four chairs, and a full-size fridge. In addition to wireless service, ethernet connection is available (ethernet cords are recommended for gamers). Students are responsible for providing their own television and TV cable cord. All rooms will be air conditioned and residents benefit from FREE laundry facilities.
Reopened for returning students in fall 2020, Mohn Hall had flooring replaced, improved lighting, new heating/cooling units, modern lounge furniture, new furniture in student rooms, and updated finishes. All student rooms in Mohn Hall consist of premier single rooms, with full-size beds, and economy single rooms with more flexible furniture. Laundry facilities are located on the ground floor, and there is a communal kitchen on the first floor.
The “Quad” residence halls (Crowell, Krause, Smith, and Walton Halls) are a special living community for first-year students. These living-learning communities offer dynamic, focused programming and events to assist students with transition to Albright College and campus living. Laundry facilities are located in the basements, and RAs are housed on each floor.
North Hall houses upper-class students, mainly sophomores and juniors, who are able to select this living option during the housing selection process in the spring. Each pod has a restroom area (3 showers, 3 toilets, 3 sinks) with a washer/dryer unit, and a communal kitchen is available on the first floor of A-Pod. RAs are housed on the second and third floors of each pod.
