Welcome Weekend 2022 FAQs
Where do I go when I arrive on campus?
Residence Hall Students: When you arrive on campus you will go directly to your residence hall car line to check in. There you will receive necessary materials for your move-in, and will be asked to complete any outstanding paperwork before receiving your key. Once all your move-in items are unloaded by our move-in crew, the driver will proceed to your assigned lot, and the student will head to their room. Commuter Students: You will park in the commuter lot, then head to the commuter lounge on the ground floor of Selwyn Hall at the designated time.
What rules and guidelines do I need to follow when moving in?
There may be some restrictions in place in terms of the number of people allowed to assist each student with move in, or guidelines in place based on pandemic risk, and we will update all students as protocols are established/updated.
As of April 2022, Resident-students may have up to two helpers though this may change as August approaches. These can be family members or friends. All members of your move in group must take their temperature before coming to campus. Anyone not feeling well or with a temperature over 100.4 F should not come to campus. All members of your move in group must wear masks at all times on campus, regularly wash or sanitize their hands, and avoid contact with others outside of your family group.
Move in times are being assigned to all students so that the number of individuals in a building at a time can be limited. Look for specific information about your move-in time in your Albright email from Katy Mangold in OSIL. Your time will be between 8am and 11am Thursday, August 25th.
