Lifting Up Lions
What is the Lifting Up Lions initiative?
We believe that no Albrightian’s social, academic, physical, or mental well-being should be limited by challenges related to financial or material resources. In light of this, the Student and Campus Life Division is hard at work to remove barriers to student success and health.
We encourage Albrightians to take advantage of these resources and opportunities, no questions asked. Students should never feel as though these resources are only for those who are severely in need or that they may be judged for requesting assistance. If you need anything, we want to help you.
If you would like to contribute donations of clothing or toiletries to this initiative, or if you would like to speak with me about any of the information presented here, please reach out!
Samantha J. Wesner, DNP, CRNP, WHNP-BC
Senior Vice President of Student and Campus Life and Chief Health Officer
Please refer to email updates in regards to availability of food bank items.
Coats, gloves, hats, and other warm clothing items are available in the Student and Campus Life Suite in Selwyn Hall South (with the white pillars on the porch). If students are unable to find the garments or sizes they need, a paper form is available for them to make specific requests.
Toiletries and similar necessities are available to students who find themselves in need. These items include shampoo, toothbrushes, deodorant, Band-Aids, and more. You can find a sampling of available items on this list. Please email email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org to submit your request. A return email will then confirm your pickup instructions of requested items.
