Textbook Bundling Opt-Out

As an adult learner, your time matters. You are constantly balancing work, family and your education. Albright College’s Accelerated Degree Program includes textbooks and other course material included in the cost of tuition. We also handle shipping and handling to ensure the correct textbooks and materials make it directly to your home or classroom. Our goal is to allow you to ultimately focus on your education and not need to waste your time on administrative items with attending to college. We do understand some students prefer to purchase textbooks on their own. Before opting out of textbook bundling, please consider the following:

  • Changing Editions. In addition to the convenience listed above, please consider that edits frequently change with each new textbook edition. This causes confusion for students and causes issues in the classroom if you purchase the wrong edition.
  • Accelerated Matters. Remember that accelerated courses only last 5-7 weeks, so not having your textbook a week or two prior to night one of class can easily impact your grade for the course.
  • Hard to Find Textbooks. Some courses have textbooks that are available, but sometimes hard to find if our bookstore does not carry the text. While we can supply you with the ISBN number, you will need to search for the textbooks and materials.

Tuition Rate for students electing to opt out (June 1, 2017-May 31, 2018):
$165 per Accelerated Degree Program course*

After reviewing all of the information above, if you are still interested in opting out of textbook bundling, please be aware of the following:
