Melinda Riccio ’94 Memorial Excellence in Teaching Award
This award is dedicated to the honor and memory of Assistant Professor Melinda Riccio. Melinda Riccio was an assistant professor in Accounting in the School of Professional Studies. Melinda was known for her enthusiasm and knowledge of her subject matter and for her passion and dedication to students. The first School of Professional Studies Excellence in Teaching Award was posthumously awarded to Melinda Riccio.
The Melinda Riccio ’94 Memorial Excellence in Teaching Award is given to a member of the School of Professional Studies faculty who has demonstrated teaching excellence and enthusiasm and has made significant contributions to their student’s education experience.
School of Professional Studies faculty members are nominated by students in the School of Professional Studies and the recipient of the award is reviewed by the SPS Academic Program Chairs and Academic Standing & Honors Committee. These groups make their recommendation for the award to the Provost of Albright College.
