The Albright Reporter encourages letters to the editor related to
issues discussed in the magazine, issues that relate to college news
or policies, or that are of interest to a segment of our readership.
Letters can be mailed, faxed or sent via e-mail to:

- All letters to the editor of The Albright Reporter will
be considered for publication. To be accepted for publication,
a letter must meet one of the following criteria:
- It relates to an article published in or issue discussed
in The Albright
- It contains information of interest to all, or a segment
of our readership (alumni, parents, donors, students, faculty
- It relates to college news or policy.
Letters should be kept to 400 words or fewer. An editor’s
note may be appended to a letter to clarify or correct the issue
discussed in the letter or to explain university policy.
The Albright Reporter reserves the right to edit letters for clarity,
correct grammar and punctuation,
The Albright Reporter will not publish unsigned letters, or letters
from individuals whose address and
telephone number cannot be verified.
The Albright Reporter will not republish a letter that has appeared
in The Albright Reporter or another
publication in part or in whole.
The Albright Reporter also reserves the right to reject the following:
- Anything that can be construed as libelous
- A form letter
- A letter endorsing a product or person
- Profane, obscene, bigoted,
- Unintelligible prose
- A vendetta against an individual, organization,
or Albright College
Letters that proselytize will be printed at the editor’s discretion
according to the guidelines stated above.
Ongoing discussions on religious beliefs, lifestyles, or other controversial
issues will be discontinued after three consecutive issues.
Letters will be printed in the next edition of The Albright
Reporter in which space is available.
The editor has sole authority as to the timing of a letter’s publication.
