Adding to the Albright Experience
Students new to Albright College soon find a wealth of new experiences and educational opportunities available to them here. In fact, many students have told us that by the time they graduate, they’ve come to consider their time at Albright the best thing that’s ever happened to them.

For many students, the involvement of their parents adds yet another dimension of satisfaction to the Albright experience. When parents become involved, the entire Albright community, as well as their own student, benefits.

Following are a number of ways you can get involved in both your student’s education and the life of the Albright community. After you look through the many opportunities, we hope you’ll decide to join our team of parent volunteers. When you do, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that you’re making a positive contribution to your student’s experience at Albright College.

Volunteer with our Admission Office
Parents who volunteer with our Admission Office are a valuable resource for prospective students and their parents, because they can share their firsthand knowledge of the Albright College experience.

  • College Fairs
Join one of Albright’s admission counselors at a college/career fair, where you’ll have the opportunity to speak with prospective students and their families about what it’s like to be the parent of an Albrightian. If you’re interested, please contact the Admission Office at 610-921-7700.
  • On-Campus Open Houses
Spend a day assisting the Admission Office at an on-campus open house. High school students and their families come to campus to learn as much as they can about Albright, and you can help by telling them about your experiences as the parent of an Albright student. If you’re interested, please contact the Admission Office at 610-921-7700.
  • Refer a Student
Informing Albright admission counselors about quality prospective students is a great way to enhance our applicant pool. Parents are encouraged to advocate for a student’s admission to the College, so if you’re acquainted with an applicant and wish to provide a recommendation, please speak to an admission counselor. If you’re interested, please contact the Admission Office at 610-921-7700.

Share Your Personal Career Journey with our Students
Parents share their experience and knowledge of various career options with our students. If you’re interested, please contact the Experiential Learning and Career Development Center at 610-921-7630 or elcdc@albright.edu.

Parent Correspondents
Parent correspondents provide their unique, personal touch and perspective through written communications to other parents at various times throughout the year. Correspondents also contribute to the Parent Pride e-News from time to time. If you’re interested, please contact the Development Office at 610-929-6608.

Summer Send-Off Events
Host a summer send-off to get to know the next class of Albrightians and their parents who live in your area. If you’re interested, please contact the Admission Office at 610-921-7700.

Regional Receptions
Get to know other Albright College parents, families and/or alumni in your area by hosting a small gathering at your home, a club or a restaurant. A staff member from the College will help you plan your event. If you’re interested, please contact the Alumni Relations Office at alumni@albright.edu or 1-877-411-7510.
