The Summer Fashion Studio for High School Students at Albright College

If you are a rising high school sophomore, junior or senior interested in fashion design or merchandising, you need to experience the Albright College Summer Fashion Studio.

Students will explore design concepts, illustration, computer aided design, merchandise buying, fashion marketing and visual merchandising while creating their own “Alternative Creations.” The program ends with a runway fashion show open to all family members. In addition, students will work on a portfolio and will design their own T-shirt.

For the safety of our community, Albright follows and will continue to follow the CDC guidelines issued for COVID-19. Guidelines in effect from August 1-August 6, 2021 will be followed for this event. As we get closer to the event, a notice of these guidelines will be sent to you.

Housing
Students will live two to a room in one of Albright’s centrally located, air-conditioned residence halls. A Summer Studio advisor will provide 24-hour supervision within the hall. All meals except for lunch on the field trip will be in the Dining Hall.

Bring from Home
When packing for the week, bring comfortable clothes. Make sure you have a pair of sneakers. Bring several pairs of shoes/sandals to be used for the fashion show on Friday. Bed linens will be provided.

Cost
The Albright College Summer Fashion Studio fee is $899 which includes meals, housing, instruction, supplies and excursions. Lunchtime meal on day of field trip will be on your own; bring money to cover cost. You may pay the entire $899 or submit a deposit of $300 when you register.
