Lifting Up Lions
What is the Lifting Up Lions initiative?
We believe that no Albrightian’s social, academic, physical, or mental well-being should be limited by challenges related to financial or material resources. In light of this, the Student Affairs and Campus Life Division is hard at work to remove barriers to student success and health.
We encourage Albrightians to take advantage of these resources and opportunities, students should never feel that they may be judged for requesting assistance. The Lifting up Lions program has provided many items to our students such as warm clothing items, personal care products, textbooks, technology, and educational supplies.
What Do We Offer?
Winter Clothing
Coats, gloves, hats, and other warm clothing items are available in the Gable Health Center.
Toiletries
Toiletries and similar necessities are available to students who find themselves in need. These items include shampoo, toothbrushes, deodorant, Band-Aids, and more and are available in the Gable Health Center.
Donate to Lifting Up Lions
Your donations of gently used or new winter clothing and new toiletries/personal care items may be dropped off at the Student and Campus Life Office in Selwyn Hall South during normal business hours.
A financial contribution can be made at Lifting Up Lions.
