Join the Society of Black Alumni (SOBA) for a Black History Month celebration you won’t want to miss! Vote in a virtual talent show and meet Albright’s black alumni and students at a networking event where the 2021 SOBA King, Queen or Royalty will be unveiled!

Students! Want to be in the running? Submit a 90 second or less video by midnight on Feb. 19, 2021 in MP4 format. Performances must reflect an aspect of black history and culture and can be group or individual pieces. Think outside of the box: performances could be TikTok videos showcasing a traditional dish, dance, introductions of important historical figures and more!

Don’t plan on submitting a video? No problem! Cast your vote for your favorite submission the week of Feb. 22. Albright students, alumni, faculty and staff will select what they think are the best performances. Then, join SOBA for a virtual networking event on Feb. 27 at 3 p.m. EST, to meet and make connections with black alumni, and see who will be crowned 2021 SOBA, King, Queen or Royalty!
