Hobbies: Massachusetts and national politics, New England waterfront real estate, wildlife study and conservation, and international cooking (my life-long education). Re the latter, supporting my amazing local farms, perfecting my 10-step Chile Rellenos, authentic Italian bronze die cut Carbonara (using my neighbors hours-old fresh eggs), and ever-new ways to poach wild-caught fish. Still, truth be told, there’s no way to improve upon a 1 hour-old sweet Maine lobster served with butter, hot fresh sourdough, a red-checked otherwise rough-hewned picnic table on a pier with friends and crashing salt waves below.

Albright Memories: The many people I met, students, staff and professors, and shared fun experiences with – especially my lifelong friends like my roommate– Joanne and nursing friend – Debbie. I will always remember how much I enjoyed being an admissions tour guide for future students, especially during the summer – it will always be one of my favorite jobs. Other fond memories: North Hall going co-ed, Pi Alpha Tau Sorority, dorm and fraternity parties (TKE, ZETA, APO), late nights studying for nursing, surprise visits from my mom, who lives in Reading, bringing meals – especially Sundays through my 1st floor window in East Hall.

Albright Memories: As a senior, I was put on social probation by J Randell Miller. During the second semester, residents of Selwyn saved all their liquor bottles. The night before we graduated, we lined all the bottles up to the entrance to the campus center. We wrote a sign, I LOVE J Randell Miller!! Several years later when I got married, I found out my husband was childhood friends with “J Randell.” We’ve had several laughs over the years.

 

Welcome to our 40th Reunion!

While our lives have changed significantly since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, Albright had to make the difficult decision to pivot from the typical in-person, on-campus events to a re-imagined virtual experience for Homecoming Weekend, September 25-27, 2020.

Until we are able to reschedule our in-person reunion for a future date, we will still commemorate this year with a virtual class gathering.

40 years have gone so quickly since you’ve graduated from Albright! Reconnect with your classmates and the memories will come rushing back! This virtual event will feature polls about your favorite campus people, locations and moments. Wear your Albright gear and be ready to raise a glass to your 40th anniversary! Those who pre-register for the class event will receive the Zoom link starting Mon., September 21.
