2019 Homecoming & Family Weekend Recap
Both alumni and families were invited to take part in the first ever combined Albright College Homecoming & Family Weekend from Fri., Sept. 27 – Sun., Sept. 29. It was a great weekend to be an Albright Lion!
Albrightians attended athletic events, played games, enjoyed the delicious foods from food trucks, tailgated, picked up some great swag, got back on the WXAC airwaves, participated in outdoor yoga, dunked their favorite faculty members and classmates, took photos with the Albright Lion, remembered Albrightians of the past, reminisced over years gone by and so much more!
Four alumni, Angela Bretz ’99 (swimming), David Ciccone ’04 (baseball), Trevor Deeter ’06 (men’s basketball) and Eric Nemec ’99 (football), were inducted into the Albright Athletics Hall of Fame, and students Linden Bennetch ’20 and Stephanie Pinel ’20 were crowned Homecoming King and Queen.
Additionally, many alumni took the time to come back to campus after 1, 5, 10, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50, 55, 60, 65 and 70 years for their class reunions, including over 100 attendees at the 50+ Club Induction & Luncheon.
After a great weekend on campus, over 800 alumni, families, faculty/staff and students celebrated Albright College. Save the date for next year’s homecoming celebration: September 25-27, 2020!
