Alumni Association Mentoring Program – Albright College

Alumni Association Mentoring Program

The Albright College Alumni Association Mentoring Program is designed to help the college’s students succeed before and after graduation by preparing them for their professional careers. The program pairs alumni with career expertise and a variety of interests to students with similar career aspirations and interests.

What Do Mentors Do?

Based on the expertise of the Mentor,  mentorship could range from providing advice on general college success strategies,  to more  career oriented  topics including planning for a career, job search and interviewing tips, applying to graduate school, and transitioning to post-college life.

What Is the Time Commitment?

Your level of involvement is up to you.  There will be an initial kick-off meeting on campus to introduce mentors to mentees on February 16, 2022.  The expectation is that you will meet (in person or virtually) with your mentee at least twice a month.  After that you manage your time investment directly with the student mentees or by coordinating with Albright staff.

How Do I Get Involved?

If interested, fill out the Mentor Volunteer Form below no later than February 9, 2022, so we can determine where your mentorship will benefit the most.   Students can then review the list of available mentors to receive advice and assistance.

COVID-19 Protocols on Campus

Alumni will be expected to follow the guidelines of the Albright College Care Compact.   Please do not come to campus if you feel ill, have a fever, cough or are showing any signs of COVID-19 illness.  Masks must be worn at all times when interacting with students.
