April 2021 – 2020 Award Winners

During Albright College’s Alumni Week On-Demand on Saturday, April 17, 2021, six alumni were honored for their outstanding contributions and achievements for the 2020 year.

The Jacob Albright Award – The highest alumni honor, presented to a graduate who has used his or her liberal arts education to its greatest potential, thereby making outstanding contributions to the Albright College community, his or her profession and in service to society. 

Awarded to Tiffenia D. Archie, Ph.D. ’92

Distinguished Alumni Award – Presented to Albright alumni for outstanding service and accomplishments in at least one of the following areas: community, state, nation, church, profession, academic and/ or service organizations.

William G. Young ’76

Young Alumni Achievement Award – Presented to Albright alumni for outstanding achievement in at least one of the following areas: profession or career, dedicated volunteer service to Albright College, church or community. To be eligible, nominees must be 35 years of age or younger by the nomination deadline.

Awarded to Andrew R. Holets ’06

Service to Alma Mater Award – Presented to alumni of Albright College for outstanding service to Alma Mater.

Awarded to Thomas A. Chaves ’85
