One of the sincerely compelling reasons why I work at Albright College is the community of creative thinkers eager to learn from others and expand their world views. At present, for many of us, our ‘view’ has shrunk to the walls of our home. While we can never replicate the feel of our campus, the pleasure of interacting with students, the sense of pride when seeing a hurdle overcome and joy of celebrating a success, I would like to share some of my favorite virtual clips. Make sure to keep in contact with us: we love to talk (phone, text, email, Facetime, Zoom) about the awesome opportunities at Albright College.
– Jennifer Williamson, Director of Admission
You have questions, we have answers! Register for our online group Q&A sessions with an admission counselor. Of course, you might prefer to connect with an admission counselor privately. We can do that, too. We will meet you where you are … well, at least through Zoom.
INCOMING FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS: Register for our Virtual Summer Success Series as we help you through the transition from high school to college and teach you about our new semester outline, course registration, your major, and more! Welcome home, Lions!
We’ve moved our Open House events online! Our Open Houses are designed to give you all the information you need, whether you’re just starting your college search, or you are nearing the end of it! You’ll have the chance to interact with students, staff, faculty and coaches from across the college. We know we can’t show the whole Albright experience online, but we know we can get close. Join us.
One thing that makes an Albright education truly different, is that our students are encouraged to personalize degrees by crossing or combining majors without adding extra time (or money) to the degree-completion timeline. But connecting our world doesn’t stop there. Albright is proud to be one of the most diverse colleges in Pennsylvania, comprised of a remarkable variety of people, backgrounds and thoughts. For more than 30 years, Dr. John Pankratz has taught history at Albright College, and for the last 18, he has documented the history of the college in hundreds of thousands of photographs. In addition to attending half a dozen events every week, John takes beautiful portraits of our close-knit community. Think of them as photos of a family you are welcome to join. See Albright’s intellectual, cultural, athletic and social life through John’s eyes. And feel free to also peruse the Admission Office’s “Pets of the Day” album, our “Where we Work” album, and our adventures on TikTok!
The next best thing to touring our beautiful, 118-acre campus in person is checking it out online. Take a virtual tour of our signature buildings and major facilities, our residence halls and our sports venues.
