Admission FAQs

Students working in Roessner Hall

At Albright, we consider a student to be first-generation if their parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have not completed a four-year bachelor’s degree. Being first-generation is something you should be proud of! In fact, many of the staff in the Admission office and a number of our cross-campus colleagues, including faculty members are “first-gens.”

Admission at Albright College is rolling, which means you can apply at any time after the completion of your junior year. Summer is a great time to become familiar, or even start an application for admission, and the Common App traditionally opens on August 1. We encourage students to apply during the fall of their senior year of high school. Our deposit deadline is May 1.

Our Admission Counselors would love for you to say hello when we are on the road. Take a peek to see when our counselors are visiting your area.

Albright College recognizes the diversity of student learning styles. As part of our holistic approach to reviewing applications, and in commitment to providing access to a higher education to promising scholars, Albright does not require standardized test scores for making admission or scholarship decisions. However, all international applicants must submit standardized test scores in order to assist with application review. We will accept TOEFL, IELTS, SAT or ACT scores.

When you become a deposited student, there will be an opportunity for you to fill out an online student application for campus work. You will also have access to student job postings on the Albright website.
