Talent Awards
Albright College enjoys a rich history of excellence in the creative arts. To celebrate our commitment to this history, Albright will continue to recognize exceptional students through our Talent Award program. This innovative endeavor is dedicated to the ongoing mentorship and development of creatively gifted students throughout their undergraduate career at Albright. Members of the faculty invite incoming students who demonstrate outstanding creative talent in the areas of Creative Writing, Journalism, Instrumental and Vocal music, Electronic Digital Instrument, Music Business, Arts Administration, Theatre, Visual and Digital Art, Fashion and Costume Design to submit portfolios, interview, or audition for these renewable grants.
Recipients of these grants on portfolio/interview/audition submission who accept membership into the Talent Award Program will see the continuation of their grant as long as they remain active in their particular discipline. Each department at Albright has its own criteria as to what “participation” entails.
Please note, students receiving these awards are free to pursue any major they wish and these grants are independent of both merit scholarships and need-based financial aid. Talent Awards are $2,000 per year, and students may receive up to two Talent Awards.
