You planned to be done with your college search by May 1 – the date that, in a normal year, indicates the National College Reply Deadline. This year, many aspects of our lives didn’t go as planned, but our commitment to you has never wavered. Allow us to welcome you to be part of our vibrant, welcoming community. As we all negotiate the changing norms of social interactions, the challenges of 24/7 reliance upon technology, the questions which arise from new situations, I am reminded that the Albright College community is flexible, dynamic, compassionate and strong.
Since March 18, when we shifted to online learning and telecommuting, we have continued to act as a community sharing joys and struggles, frequent revisions and pride-filled successes, and adapting to a new way of life.
The Admission office remains committed to the task we started 18 months ago, when you began thinking about your college search journey. We know that you may need more time to make your decision. We have pushed our deposit deadline to June 1 in the hopes that the extra month provides time for you to explore our virtual visit content, review your financing options, and celebrate the close of your college search.
Continue to reach out to us via text, email or phone so we can answer your questions and provide a foundation for your growing confidence. I know the best is yet to come, and I appreciate the opportunity to experience it with you.
