About the Program
By integrating coursework from environmental science, economics, business, ethics, sociology, and political science, the program emphasizes sustainability as both a scientific and social challenge. Students develop a broad skill set that prepares them to approach sustainability from multiple perspectives—corporate, community-based, policy-driven, and global. This interdisciplinary structure maximizes the program’s relevance and prepares graduates for diverse career pathways, including work with corporations, nonprofits, government agencies, advocacy organizations, and entrepreneurial ventures.
