Voces: Latinx Voices in Reading

Our podcast, Voces: Latinx Voices in Reading, is a series of 3 podcast episodes dedicated to recording the experiences of Latinx community members, with a particular focus on the intersection of diversity, equity, and inclusion with respect to public policy. Historically, members of the Latinx community have often had to overcome prejudice and discrimination in order to achieve success. These stories often go unheard in mainstream media outlets, but are valuable sources of knowledge. This project seeks to allow the stories of these Latinx individuals to circulate and to inform us about their experiences in the Reading community. In our first episode, Albright student Tosin Ajayi interviews PA State Rep. Johanny Cepeda-Freytiz and Dr. Michelle McGowan joins the conversation.
