Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, preferably in psychology or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 credit hours in psychology at the B.S./B.A. level (introductory psychology; research methods and statistics)
  • Minimum grade point average of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or provisional acceptance)
  • Statement of career interest and goals indicating reasons for pursuing this degree (500 words or less)

Program Structure
The program is designed to enable graduate students to complete the entire program in about one year, and by taking only one class at a time. The program also meets the American Psychological Association requirements for M.S.-level graduate training, and is offered fully online.

How many courses do I need to take? How long does this take?
The complete master’s in applied psychology program is 10 courses in duration. Each class is offered online and lasts five weeks.

Can I transfer classes?
Yes! You may transfer in a maximum of six credits.

How much does it cost?
The price per course is $1,540 with no additional fees. Books are not included in this price.

When can I start?
There are eight opportunities throughout the year to begin this master’s program in the School of Professional Studies. There are three start dates in the fall, three in the spring and two in the summer.
