The Gold “A” Award
The Gold “A” Award was presented for the first time in 1930, a year after Albright College moved from its campus in Myerstown, Pa., to its current home in Reading.
Today, the prestigious award is presented to seniors for outstanding leadership in campus activities other than athletics, and for contributions to the intellectual, literary, musical, artistic and/or social life of the College. Students are chosen who have enriched the cultural life of the College and promoted a more congenial atmosphere.
