As a faculty member at Albright, you may qualify for Personal Disability after a qualifying injury. This policy allows you to collect full-time pay for up to six months after the occurrence and then up to 60% of your salary for long-term disability.
Albright offers a variety of medical benefits including health insurance, options for dental and vision, a confidential Employee Assistance Program, flex spending accounts, long-term disability insurance, and group life insurance. Please visit the the Office of Human Resources page for further details or consult your employee handbook.
Albright continues her educational mission by offering several ways for eligible employees to continue their own education or that of their dependents. Tuition Exchange, Tuition Remission, and Graduate Tuition Remission are available on a competitive basis. Certain restrictions apply. Tuition remission form may be found by visiting the Human Resources web page.
Although no official policy stands in terms of bereavement, we would like faculty to know that they are capable of taking the time they need to grieve for loved ones and/or make arrangements for them. If you are in need of time for bereavement, please contact the Provost, Andrea Chapdelaine.
