Paid Sick Time

Non-Exempt Staff – Following a 90-day introductory period, full-time employees accrue 3.69 hours of sick leave per bi-weekly pay cycle which can be accumulated up to 480 hours. Part-time employees receive a pro-rated accrual rate based on normal weekly hours assigned at time of hire.

Exempt Staff – Full-time employees are granted 40 hours of sick leave per year immediately upon hire date. Part-time employees receive a pro-rated accrual rate based on normal weekly hours assigned at time of hire.

Medical Insurance

Albright provides employees with the option to participate in a group-sponsored health, prescription, dental and vision insurance program. This coverage is available to regular full-time employees who consistently work 30 hours per week in a 10 or 12-month period. We currently offer medical insurance through Capital Blue Cross.

Albright provides a contribution towards the cost of an employee’s individual health insurance coverage, and a contribution toward spouse, child(ren) or family coverage.  Additional plan information can be found through the links below

Dental Insurance

Albright offers two dental plan options from Delta Dental, which is paid 100% by the individual electing coverage for themselves or for their eligible dependents.

Vision Insurance

Albright offers vision coverage through Vision Benefits of America (VBA), which is paid 100% by the individual electing coverage or for their eligible dependents:

Flexible Spending Account (FSA) – Healthcare and Dependent Care

Albright offers Flexible Spending Accounts for healthcare and dependent care expenses.  With an FSA, you elect to have your annual contribution (up to the $5,000 set by the IRS) deducted from your paycheck each pay period, in equal installments throughout the year, until you reach the yearly maximum you have specified. The amount of your pay that goes into an FSA will not count as taxable income, so you will have immediate tax savings.  FSA dollars can be used during the plan year to pay for qualified expenses and services.  A Healthcare FSA allows reimbursement of qualifying out-of-pocket medical expenses while Dependent Care FSA allows reimbursement of dependent care expenses, such as daycare) incurred by eligible dependents.

Group Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Disability

The College provides full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week with College-paid life insurance and Accidental Death and Disability (AD&D) effective the first of the month following 90 days from the hire date.  The Basic Life Insurance amount is equal to 2 times your basic annual earnings, rounded to the next higher $1,000.
