Albright College’s United Way Campaign 2020
Welcome to Albright College’s United Way Campaign 2020! The campaign may look different this year, but we are as united as ever! The Albright College community continues its commitment to support the people and organizations in Berks County who need the United Way services. Stay tuned here for weekly updates, incentives, success stories and… the unveiling of the Virtual Chili Cook Off!
The United Way is engaged in nearly 1,800 communities across more than 40 countries worldwide. They are focused on creating community-led solutions that strengthen quality of education, financial stability and health. We all benefit when a child succeeds in school, when someone finds a job that will help them provide for their family, or when more people are able to access quality, affordable health care. The solutions created by the United Way for communities around the world go beyond short-term charity for a few. We rise or fall together. With your support, we are reaching for great new heights.
Employees and faculty wishing to make an annual pledge to the United Way campaign will have the convenience of making their donations through a personal “e-pledge.” All Albright employee’s will receive an email from United Way regarding their personal e-pledge form.
Pledges can be given as a one-time payment, or as a payroll deduction made throughout the year begining Jan. 2021 with your first paycheck (payroll deductions can be as little as $1 per paycheck). If you make an annual pledge of $260 ($5 per week), your name will be entered to win amazing prizes that includes a car! Go to www.uwberks.org/campaign-incentives/ for more information.
Faculty and staff that would like to contribute at a “Leadership Level” can qualify to have their leadership gift matched, doubling what is given to the UW of Berks County.
