Initially designed for faculty moving from Moodle to Canvas, our Canvas 101 course offers a link to our Canvas Quickstart recorded webinar, as well as all the basics of using Canvas at Albright.
The Institute began last year as an initiative of the Provost's office, encouraging faculty development in the effective use of our learning management system (LMS). This year, facing the uncertainties of the current health crisis, the Institute takes on new and increased significance as we explore what it means to teach and learn in a flexible online/ground/hybrid environment.
The theme of this year's Institute - Learning Together, Wherever - highlights our focus on using the tools of our LMS to facilitate active learning for our students wherever they, or we, may be.
