Service Learning

Service learning is a form of experiential learning that allows students to test theories learned in the classroom, enhance problem-solving skills within a community environment, and work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.  Faculty-led reflection ties the service experience to principles, ideals, course content, and student transformation.
