Printing with Pawprint
Starting a Print Job On Campus
From an Albright computer
If you are at Albright, either in an office or in a computer lab, you can simply print from whatever application you are using. Make sure that the “PawPrint” printer is the selected printer.
From a personal computer
Visit the PawPrint App setup (also called Mobility) and follow the instructions. (Here’s some help )
With either method above, the document will be queued for release – nothing will actually print yet. You don’t have to pick a destination printer at this stage – you will do that when you want to collect your printouts. You can queue up as many as you want.
The jobs will only stay in the queue for 24 hours, though!
Getting your Printouts
Step 1 is to find the printer you want to get your jobs from from the available list of printers. If the printer you want is either unavailable or busy, you can move on to the next best one. The printer will be marked with a pawprint logo to help identify it, and there will always be a physical set of instructions.
Step 2 is to authenticate. You can do this in one of three ways:
- Login with your LionLink credentials
- Tap your Albright ID against the sensor
- Faculty and Staff: Use your personal Pin (details)
The first time you Card or Pin, you will have to link your account using your LionLink credentials.
Step 3 is to either choose ‘Print All’ to print all your documents immediately or choose ‘Print Release’ to pick through all the jobs for more fine control.
Copying and Scanning
Step 1 is to find a printer from the available list of printers.
Step 2 is to authenticate. You can do this in one of three ways:
- Login with your LionLink credentials
- Tap your Albright ID against the sensor
- Use your personal ID Pin (for faculty/staff)
The first time you use Card or ID, you will have to link your account using your LionLink credentials.
Step 3 is to select “Device Functions” off the list, which will give you access to the copy and scan options.
Copy instructions vary per copier, follow the instructions provided at the machine. You can find documentation on the available list for each specific printer.
Scan will allow you to send the document to your email or to your OneDrive. If you choose OneDrive, you will have to accept a request on your machine to give PawPrint permission to save to your OneDrive. Once you do this, you will not have to do it again.
Printing from Off-Campus
The only way to print from off-campus is called ‘Web Print’. You can only print PDFs in this manner, but it is easy in any Office product (Word, Excel, etc) to save in PDF format.
If you are off-campus and want to queue a job, you still must use Web Print.
