Faculty Recommendation Form for Peer Tutors

The student has asked you to provide this recommendation because he or she would like to become a peer tutor in the Academic Learning Center. Peer tutors must have a high level of content mastery and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. If you have any questions about this form or would like a full position description, please contact the Academic Learning Center, at academiclearningcenter@albright.edu.

For any students interested in becoming ALC tutors, they must have earned at least a B+ or higher (some exceptions may apply) in the course you taught and receive a recommendation from you. Once the ALC receives the recommendation, the ALC will contact the student to set up an interview. If hired, all tutors must complete CRLA certified trainings run through the ALC.
