The Senior Walkway Legacy is the senior class gift drive program, in which seniors raise money to refurbish walkways around campus, replacing macadam with beautiful stone pavers. Most importantly, it is the beginning of a new tradition at Albright! It was started in 2006 by the College’s Sesquicentennial Class. This program is part of the overall efforts of The Fund for Albright.
The 2006 kickoff year focused on the restoration of the circular walkway around Sylvan Pond, located at the center of campus, which is one of the campus’ most recognized landmarks. All Albrightians surely remember being tossed into the pond on their birthday!
Subsequent class years will continue on the success of 2006 by continuing to raise funds to refurbish more walkways on campus. Hopefully, the campus will eventually be blanketed in beautiful stone pavers. Every senior who makes a gift of $100 or more receives his\her name on a paver.
Thank you for your support
