The Science Center Construction Project

This view of the new Science Center construction project looks south over the roof of the Campus Center toward the rear of Merner-Pfeiffer Hall of Science. Palm Street is on the left.

The new Science Center has three components. The 41,635 square feet of new classrooms and laboratories, Trustee Hall, wraps around the west and north sides of the 37,019 square feet of the original Merner-Pfeiffer Hall, built in 1928,  and the Horn Wing, added in 1965.

Trustee Hall will open for the fall 2010 semester. The remainder of the building is being completely renovated and will re-open in spring, 2011.
