Together Again
Pushman Cottage (formerly Sherman Cottage) was buzzing with activity
as more than 80 alumni attended the first-ever Home Economics Reunion
at Albright College on November 4, 2000.
Not only did the reunion offer an opportunity for alumni to catch
up with friends and tour their old "stomping grounds,"
it also provided continuing education workshops.
Scott French '87, owner of R. Scott French Designs in New York,
N.Y. and P. Fay Strickler '62, an extension home economist at the
Pennsylvania State University Co-op in Leesport, Pa. made presentations.
During lunch, attendees got down to business discussing the future
of Home Economics education (known now as Family and Consumer Science),
at Albright College and throughout the United States.
