Assistant Football Coach Selected to Participate in NCAA Champion Forum

Assistant Football Coach Mike Hoyt was one of 10 coaches nationally selected to be a part of the NCAA’s Champion Forum held in June. The forum, aimed at mentoring future head football coaches by pairing them with esteemed athletic directors from around the country, ran in conjunction with the National Association of Collegiate Directors Athletics Convention in Orlando, Fla.

The individuals selected for this forum were chosen by a distinguished group of retired and current head coaches.

Hoyt is in his sixth season at Albright as a defensive coordinator. “I was honored and humbled to be selected as part of such an elite group of coaches,” he said. “I was able to gain more insight on managing a football program and how important it is to teach student athletes the life-long lessons that will make them successful off the playing field.”

Hoyt is also the director of strength and fitness for all of Albright’s athletic teams.
