Representing the hard work, friendships and lifelong ties developed at Albright, the College’s new ring “is a wonderful renewal of an old tradition,” says President Henry A. Zimon, Ph.D. This spring, during the annual senior brunch, 24 members of the Class of 2002 were presented with the first official Albright College ring. Each signet ring symbolically captures the essence of Albright with a garnet stone, encrusted with the letter A. The bezel includes elements from the school seal: the words “Veritas et Jvstita,” as well as 1856, the founding date. On the shoulder, the student’s class year is engraved. On the inside of the ring, the student’s initials and degree are engraved, if desired. It is available exclusively for all recent and past graduates of Albright and junior and senior students in good standing with the College. According to Zimon, the ring symbolizes the essences of Albright graduates such as critical thinking, open-mindedness and exceptional communication. Michael Adams, Ph.D., chair of the English Department says, “This ring will seal your relationship with Albright College: its past and traditions, the faculty and staff, alumni friends, and current students, not to mention a glorious future.” For more information and to request a brochure,
