Experience the Greatest Voyage in Natural History
cruise boat

Picture yourself cruising along the world’s longest navigable river experiencing the diversity of nature as it flourishes beneath the Amazon’s shaded rainforest canopy. Better yet, picture your fellow Albrightians along with you!

Albright alumni have the opportunity to enjoy seven days of adventure into the world’s most exotic natural realm – the mysterious Amazon.

Housing the world’s largest rainforest ecosystem, travelers will learn about everything from the spidery forms of orchids to incredible animals like the transparent glass frog. A boundless natural diversity can be seen from treetop to river bottom.

The Amazon’s intimate 26-passenger La Turmalina offers incredible wildlife viewing from a spacious, open-air top deck, passengers will experience classic 19th century elegance and 21st century comfort.

From La Turmalina you will board special small excursion boats to explore the Amazon’s secretive tributaries, view the world’s largest wetlands refuge and experience species not found anywhere else on this planet!

The Show Must Go On!

It’s a place where fantasy comes alive, where an array of talents are born and nurtured. It’s where you’ve laughed, you’ve cried and you’ve become a part of something special. It’s Albright’s Wachovia (formerly Meridian) Theatre and it needs your help!

Please help Albright continue to produce quality theatrical productions and talented young actors and actresses by making your tax-deductible gift today. Help Albright reach its goal of $250,000. Improvements include all new lighting, seats, carpeting, curtains, fresh paint and lobby enhancements.

If you give a gift of $500 or more you may “name” a seat in the new theatre for yourself or in honor of a loved one or special Albrightian. Please make checks payable to Albright College and send to:

Game. Set. Match.

From drainage problems to unsightly cracks, Albright College’s tennis courts are in desperate need of replacement. Seeing this need, the Alpha Pi Omega fraternity, in celebration of their 75th Anniversary, is leading the charge to raise the funds needed to replace the courts. But they can’t do it alone. They need your help!

With the installation of new courts, a drainage system, fencing and a seating area, Albright will be able to provide a top-notch tennis complex to the men’s and women’s tennis teams as well as all of the Albright community. However, your support is needed!

Please join the Alpha Pi Omegas and Albright reach the goal of $225,000 for the new tennis courts. For more information contact Janice Johnson Luck ‘96, director of special gifts, at 610-921-7653 or e-mail janicej@alb.edu.
