Albright Honors President’s Council Members
The President's Council Dinner recognized those individuals whose outstanding support has been critical to Albright's conrinued growth. President's Council members are individuals who have contributed $1,000 or more in the past year. Since 1996, membership has increased more than 100 percent to 256 members.

Sal and Nanette Cutrona

Trustee Chair Salvatore M. Cutrona, Sr. '73 and Nanette (Ferrante) Cutrona '74 are an Albright College alumni couple who have served their alma mater with dedication since their student days. President Zimon inducted them into the Lifetime Giving Society on October 5.

Leslie Mardenborough '68

At the Fifth Annual President's Council Dinner on October 5, Albright trustee Leslie Mardenborough '68 was welcomed into the Lifetime Giving Society by President Zimon. Leslie's generosity and spirit has been felt by Albright in many ways.

Two Students Honored for Heroism
award winners

At the opening Convocation ceremony on August 27, Jason S. Salgado ’02 and Andrew J. Borst ’02 were presented with a State Proclamation from Senator Michael A. O’Pake.

This summer, Salgado and Borst teamed up to rescue a 12-year-old boy at Schlegel Park Pool in Reading, after another lifeguard saw the boy on the pool bottom. Salgado, the pool manager, dove in and rescued the boy while Borst, the assistant pool manager resuscitated the youth.
