FREEDMAN GALLERY EXHIBITION

Through September 17, 2007

This well known Canadian artist combines drawing and sculpture. He works primarily in aluminum often including found objects. Saxe has been strongly influenced by Russian Constructivism; however works such as his monumental fountain, include pots and pans making his works simultaneously formal and whimsical.

This exhibition is sponsored in part by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, The Friends of the Freedman Gallery and the Silverweed Foundation.
