Reading, Pa.- The sisters of Alpha Delta Pi at Albright College will hold their fifth annual Lion’s Share Challenge Rock-A-Thon from November 1, at 7:30 p.m. through November 4 at 8 p.m. The three-day-long fundraiser takes place on Kelchner Field on the campus of Albright College.
Sisters and friends of the sorority will rock in rocking chairs, two at a time, for 72 hours. Sisters will collect donations and gain sponsorships to rock for a designated number of hours to raise money.
Albright College president Lex McMillan Ph.D., and his wife Dottie, will rock with the sisters at 8 a.m. on November 4. All proceeds from the event benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Hershey, Pa. Last year the sorority raised more than $3,700 for the charity.
