The Mane Men formed in 2001 on the campus of Albright College. Early performances included the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Evangelical School of Theology in Myerstown, the one time home of Albright College. In April 2005, the Mane Men had the privilege of serving as ‘artists-in-residence’ for the York County Young Men’s and Treble Choir Honors Festival in York, Pa. Demand for this ensemble continues to grow and the Mane Men carry a schedule of more than 20 performances each academic year.
The Mane Men’s repertoire encompasses all types of music, including works from the Renaissance, pop favorites, folk, jazz, sacred pieces and American spiritual music. The ensemble is dedicated to the art of performing quality literature written or arranged specifically for male voices.
