Chorale Ensembles Present Winter Concert

The Albright College Music Department Choral Ensembles will present their annual Winter Choral Concert on Saturday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m. Adlai Binger, director of choral ensembles, will conduct the concert, which will be held in Memorial Chapel. It is free and open to the public.

The concert will be a program of American music in accordance with the Music Educators National Conference's "Keep America Singing" celebration. The evening will include performances by the Women's Chorale, Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Albright Angels and Mane Men. "Seven Country Songs," a collection of music by Randall Thompson set to poetry by Robert Frost, will be the centerpiece of the concert. The program will also include arrangements of folk songs and spirituals such as "My Old Kentucky Home," "Amazing Grace" and "Home on the Range."
