Reverend Richard C. Brensinger

Reverend Richard C. Brensinger is a native of Berks County.  He attended grade school at Most Blessed Sacrament (Bally) and high school at Central Catholic (Reading). Father Rich graduated from Alvernia with a double major in Theology/Philosophy and Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology.  Before entering the seminary he taught fifth grade at Saint Francis of Assisi School (Allentown).  Called to the priesthood he started seminary at Mary Immaculate Seminary (Northampton) and finished at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary (Philadelphia) where he received his Masters of Divinity.

Since his ordination in 1992, Father Rich has ministered as an Associate Pastor at Notre Dame Parish (Bethlehem), Saint Ignatius Loyola Parish (Sinking Spring), Sacred Heart Parish (West Reading), Saint Patrick Parish (Pottsville), Saint Ann Parish (Emmaus), Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Bethlehem).  Father was also called upon to use his educational background as Director of Spiritual Activities and Professor at Pius X High School (Bangor) and Marian Catholic High School (Tamaqua). 

Additionally, Father has been assigned as Pastor of the following communities before being named Catholic Chaplain at Albright College and Kutztown University: Annunciation B.V.M. Parish (Shenandoah), Saint Mary Parish (Ringtown), Saint Mary Magdalen Parish (Lost Creek), Saint George Parish (Shenandoah), Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish (Shenandoah), All Saints Parish (McAdoo) and Saint Joseph Parish (Sheppton).
