Orange Divider Graphic Mission of the Library Society
 
  • To encourage understanding of the work of the Albright College Library and to further a realization of the present and future importance of the Library to the College's advancement;
  • to attract to the College Library, through gifts or bequests, new resources including funds, books, manuscripts, and other appropriate materials beyond what the College budget can provide;
  • to serve as a medium through which members of the Library Society may become acquainted with each other and share their enthusiasm for books, literature and the printed word.
   
Orange Divider Graphic Benefits of Membership
  Although the primary benefit of membership is the satisfaction that comes from making a lasting contribution to learning, Library Society members enjoy the following special benefits:
  • Borrowing Privileges - Every member receives a library borrower's card that entitles him or her to borrow up to six books at a time from the library.
  • Publications - Members receive the Library Society newsletter.
  • Programs - Library Society members receive invitations to programs, lectures and other events including the annual business meeting and special lectures.
   
Orange Divider Graphic Membership Contributions
  A membership in the Society extends benefits to immediate family members residing at the same address. Only one borrower's card and one copy of the newsletter will be issued per household.
