Manuscripts

A "manuscript collection" is a group of materials having a common source or a collection of materials formed around a person, family, or an organization. A collection may consist of a single item, a folder, a box, or many boxes of records.

Archives & Special Collections Holdings Database (Archon) - Special Collections holds numerous collections of manuscripts. Each collection is described in the database with subject and name access. These inventories are searchable through this database (Archon) allowing subject, personal name, and keyword search of all collections. Contact the Archives and Special Collections Department for information on searching the database.
