Finding What We Own - Books and Audiovisual Materials
The Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) is a catalog of the books, journals and other materials owned by the Gingrich Library. If you are on campus, click Albright OPAC on the Gateway to Library Resources page (http://www.albright.edu/library/subjects/research.html) or select the education subject web page for access.

To have full access to all of the items in the catalog from home or work, be sure to log in as a remote user if you are working from off campus. To log in, you will need your college ID card for the number on the back under the barcode. If you have any problems logging into the site, please contact the Reference Desk at 610-921-7211 or libraryref@alb.edu.

Getting the Items You Need
Students and faculty need a college ID card to check out books or audiovisual materials at the library. Students may check out up to 50 books at a time for six weeks (curriculum library, juvenile items and leisure books are restricted to a 2 week loan period). Reference books, current journals and bound journals do not circulate outside the library.

If the Gingrich Library owns the materials requested, students enrolled in graduate classes are expected to come to the library to make photocopies or check out needed materials. Special arrangements to mail items may be approved by the Supervisor of the Interlibrary Loan Department for those times of the academic year when the library is on an abbreviated schedule, such as parts of August.

Returning the Goods
All books must be returned to the Library by the due date stamped on the circulation slip in the back of the book or media item. Items can be returned at the Library Circulation Desk (or book drop outside the main entrance if the library is closed), or by mail.

Overdue fines and lost book fees can be found at www.albright.edu/library/circ.html.

Have a question?
Any questions about borrowing materials from the library should be directed to the Supervisor of Circulation, Pat Brosenne, at 610-921-7212 or pbrosenne@alb.edu.
