INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICES
e-Learning is the DCP training course in using Blackboard and performing basic library research. It is usually held the first 2 weeks of the first class.
In addition to reference assistance, the library provides a number of online training opportunities for the accelerated degree student. Online instruction is available on the following topics:
- Information literacy - the Library's Gingrich Guide is available to help you master the skills that enable you to recognize your information needs, and then locate, evaluate and use the information effectively. This web based training program deals with both print and electronic information.
- Blackboard training - the Library's Blackboard Guide is available to ensure that you can use this tool at Albright.
The library also maintains educational pathfinders by subject at the Library Gateway to Resources page (www.albright.edu/library/subjects/research.html)
If invited by the faculty, the librarians will attend classes and provide training in library research and information literacy.
