I'm having trouble making a connection between the device and the LCD TV. What do I do?
|
| |
Like a projector, the LCD TV is set up to look for input from several different types of sources. Sometimes it gets "stuck" on one when it should be looking for another.
If you're using a DVD/VHS player, camera, camcorder, or other video device with the LCD TV, the LCD TV should search for input from one of the video ports. If you're using a computer with the LCD TV, the LCD TV should search for input from one of the RGB ports. Press the Source button (1) on the side of the TV or on the remote control to make sure it's seeking the right device. You may also need to change the channel. Press the channel down button (4) on the side of the TV or on the remote control to ensure that the TV is not seeking a cable channel like 2, 3, or 4.

If you are using a PC, and the projector says "No input detected on RGB," you may need to activate the external monitor connection. Press the function (FN) key at the bottom left-hand side of the computer and the CRT/LCD function key at the top of the keyboard. This is usually the F7 or F8 key, and it should say CRT/LCD or have a small image of a monitor screen. Press both keys together, generally once but up to four times. This combination of keys toggles the display to show on the laptop only, the TV only, or on the laptop and TV at the same time.
If you are using a Mac, and the projector says "No input detected on RGB," you may need to go into System Preferences>Displays and tell the computer to Mirror the screen and the LCD TV's image.
