I'm having trouble making a connection between the device and the LCD projector. What do I do?

The LCD projector is set up to look for input from several different types of sources. Sometimes it gets "stuck" on one when it should be looking for another.

If you're using a DVD/VHS player, camera, camcorder, or other video device with the LCD projector, the LCD projector should search for input from one of the video ports. Press the Video or Input button on top of the projector or on the remote control to make sure it's seeking the right device.

LCD inputOR LCD video

If you're using a laptop computer with the LCD projector, the LCD projector should search for input from one of the RGB ports. Press the RGB or Input button on top of the projector or on the remote control to make sure it's seeking the correct RGB port.

LCD input OR LCD rgb

If you are using a PC, and the projector says "No input detected on RGB," you may need to activate the external monitor connection. Press the function (FN) key at the bottom left-hand side of the computer and the CRT/LCD function key at the top of the keyboard. This is usually the F7 or F8 key, and it should say CRT/LCD or have a small image of a monitor screen. Press both keys together, generally once but up to four times. This combination of keys toggles the display to show on the laptop only, the projector only, or on the laptop and projector at the same time.

If you are using a Mac, and the projector says "No input detected on RGB," you may need to go into System Preferences>Displays and tell the computer to Mirror the screen and the LCD projector's image.
